چکیده

Background: micro-testicular sperm extraction (TESE) has been the first choice for Nonobstructive azoospermia (NOA) patients its higher retrieval rate under microscope, meanwhile, or oocyte cryopreservation are widely applied in in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. But few researches have systematically explored effect of and one study. Methods: we retrospectively collected analyzed data pregnancy who underwent micro-TESE using fresh vitrified-warmed gametes our center to assess cryopreservation. Results: compared clinical results NOA after micro-TESE, respectively. We found that rates good-quality embryo were 52.37 ± 24.25% 64.00 36.18%, while these vitrified 46.00 22.70% 68.00 34.6%, 45.51 25.19% 38.57 31.08%, respectively; pregancy implantation 50.0% 32.5%, oocytes 39.5% 32.9%, 37.5% 24.1%, The embyo gamete above vitrified, but there was no statistic difference. live birth than (47.1% verse 32.6%, 31.3%). Conclusions: gametes. Fresh showed better outcomes micro-TESE-ICSI treatment patients.

Outcome of Oocyte Vitrification Combined with Microdissection Testicular Sperm Extraction and Aspiration for Assisted Reproduction in Men

BACKGROUND As a safety and efficacy protocol, oocyte vitrification has been widely used in IVF treatment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the outcome of ICSI-ET utilizing vitrified oocytes with sperm obtained from non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) patients via micro-TESE. MATERIAL AND METHODS A total of 150 NOA patients underwent micro-TESE. Ten patients were unable to ejaculate and refus...

Microdissection testicular sperm extraction (micro-TESE) as a sperm acquisition method for men with nonobstructive azoospermia seeking fertility: operative and laboratory aspects.

INTRODUCTION Rare foci of sperm production may be found in up to 60% of men with nonobstructive azoospermia (NOA). Sperm production, if present, is minimal for sperm appearance in the ejaculate. Given that there are no treatment options to restore fertility, sperm retrieval is the only alternative to find testicular sperm than then can be used for in vitro fertilization (IVF). Among sperm acqui...

Prediction of successful sperm retrieval in patients with nonobstructive azoospermia.

INTRODUCTION Our aim was to evaluate the predictive values of factors that indicate successful sperm retrieval in men with nonobstructive azoospermia. MATERIALS AND METHODS We evaluated 85 infertile men with nonobstructive azoospermia who underwent multiple bilateral testicular biopsies. Factors including age, infertility period, surgical history, testicular volume, testicular consistency, se...

Developmental competence of gametes reconstructed by germinal vesicle transplantation from fresh and cryopreserved bovine oocytes.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the use of fresh or frozen bovine oocytes as an animal model for reconstructing artificial gametes by germinal vesicle transplantation (GVT), to study nucleocytoplasmic interaction and define clinical procedures for ooplasm donation in humans. DESIGN Prospective experimental study. SETTING University-based experimental laboratory. ANIMAL(S) Bovine oocytes from slaugh...

Factors influencing sperm retrieval following testicular sperm extraction in nonobstructive azoospermia patients

OBJECTIVE Azoospermia owing to testicular disorders is the most severe manifestation of male infertility. The main concern for patients with nonobstructive azoospermia (NOA) is the probability of successful sperm retrieval following testicular sperm extraction (TESE). Therefore, the goal of this study was to determine predictive factors correlated with sperm retrieval. METHODS We assessed the...
